Crafting a Book: The Publisher’s Viewpoint

Last week, I had the great pleasure of writing a post for Abby Glassenberg’s superb blog, While She Naps, about the Pattern That Changed My Life. If you are visiting via Abby’s blog or email newsletter, welcome! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you’ll spend a few minutes (or more) having a look around! Abby continues to be one of my favorite role models for craft and business blogging, and I’m looking forward to getting back into the routine of blogging this fall.

I-heart-booksOne of my favorite projects for this blog was my series on the process of writing and publishing a craft book with C&T Publishing. I was so fortunate to have many of the people on my publishing team contribute posts on their roles and perspectives throughout the series. However, C&T recently revamped their website and a kind reader pointed out to me that my former links no longer take you to the correct place.

colorful erasersI’m so sorry for the confusion, and I decided that the best way to address this would be to put links to all of the posts in the series in one place for future reference. Below, you’ll find updated links to C&T’s blog posts in the series, and below that you’ll find links to my own posts; both lists are in chronological order.

CaseyYork_Flow2I hope you’ll check out the whole series, and I continue to be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the process of proposing, writing, and publishing a book! Many thanks again for visiting, and I’ll be back next week with a special project I’ve been working on for Oakshott Fabrics and Sew, Mama, Sew!
