Welcome back, and thank you again for following along with the blog tour for Modern Appliqué Illusions! To wrap up the tour, I’m sending you over to the Modern Quilts Unlimited blog to read their impressions of the book!
I’m so glad to have had the chance to share some behind the scenes information about each quilt with you over the last couple weeks, and so touched that you’ve followed along with me! I do hope you all enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed designing and making the projects in it!
I have a special giveaway for this last day of the tour. As part of the package of book materials that I sent to C&T, I prepared samples of all the print fabrics I used in the projects so my designers could use them in the book design. Which means that I now have a collection of small scraps from almost all of the book projects. For this final tour giveaway, I’m bundling this with a package of 805 Wonder Under and a signed copy of the book! Just leave a comment below to be entered to win. I’m leaving this giveaway open for a week, and I’ll draw a random winner at midnight on Nov. 30!
ETA: This giveaway is now closed. Thank you all for your comments, and congratulations to Lisa in Port Hope!
Also, congratulations to Nancy, who is the winner of the scrap bag from the Upward quilt! And if you missed any stops along the tour, make sure to check out these wonderful bloggers who contributed!

This has been a fun hop and I’ve enjoyed reading the “behind the scenes” info. I’d love to win a signed copy of your book. I’m a big fan and I want to encourage you to continue designing illusion quilts and maybe someday I’ll see one of yours in an art gallery or museum. Best of luck. kthurn@bektel.com

I love your designs. You inspire me.
I typed my own name wrong. It’s a good thing I don’t have to type for a living. MY name is Monterey, not Moneterey.
I have a koi pond in my backyard, so I would love to make that quilt.
I have really enjoyed this blog tour and have added your book to my wish list. Your quilts are beautiful and interesting, and you’ve gotten me excited about trying applique for the first time – thanks!!
I have followed the book blog hop and really enjoyed the explanations of the various aspects of your work. We loved your recent presentation to our guild and have had many positive comments about it. Your book is great and you must be popping your buttons with pride at being a published author!
I’ve enjoyed this series of posts! You are so talented!
Having a little trouble locating the applique pattern pdf downloads from Modern Applique Illusions. The instructions on page 13 indicate: “…patterns in this book are available at tinyurl.com/11067-patterns-download…” however the first time I tried to find them I ended up on some weird Halloween costume website. The second time I ended up here but don’t see where to click to download.
Appreciate your help.
